Find your sense of place at Tryon Creek. Hike the trails and cross over bridges while learning navigation and directional skills. Create and use maps, compasses, and sundials! Play geographical-based games that examine the world that surrounds us.

Tryon Forest Adventures offers your child time to grow, learn and have fun outdoors. Designed for youth ages 6 to 12. Each day incorporates classic Tryon Creek activities like hiking, nature observation, and fort building, in addition to culturally inclusive stories, nature art, seasonal forest observation, and science-based projects.  Friends of Tryon Creek is a community-supported nonprofit connecting youth to nature since 1970.
